Default what are you doing at the weekend?

I know already. The lads van has failed its MOT with a broken front coil spring. No problem I will do it for him tomorrow. Whoops bloody French rubbish no local parts org has them in stock. So I had to order and Friday afternoon is the earliest estimate.

So I guess my Saturday will be putting a pair of coil springs on. Yes only one has failed. But suspension components like these I do as a pair.

Now the local MOT centre offered to do it for £180+VAT+parts. I know my price for the springs is £32 each and they have a right to make a bit on parts and were quoting £45. but damm their labour for a back street garage is high to fit a pair of coil springs.
