OK, he was stupid to do it with his kid on the back, but Personally I don't think speed warrants locking him up six months. He is going to be a drain on society, using a prison place better suited to traditional criminals etc. I have done faster that what he has been jailed for. I have had coppers alongside me when I was doing it etc. Speed in itself is not dangerous, inappropriate is. He would be far better off with a ban and appropriate community service. Jailing him is wrong and disproportionate
