Anyone watch "Defying Gravity" last night?

I was pleasantly suprised, the trailers made me think it was going to be some tacky soap-u-drama recycling old Red Dwarf sets but it turned out quite watchable. Reminded me a bit of early Lost.

Of course it looks like it's had bad viewing figures in the US and it could be dumped mid season over there, don't hold out any hope for a second season. So it could go the way of Firefly and end up one of those "dumped before it could shine" gems. That said, nothing set in space seems to get network support unless it conforms to the tried and tested laser beams and warp drives formula.

To be honest, I'd watch anything right now that isn't D-list celebs dancing, D-list celebs eating koala testicles in the jungle, or wannabe D-list celebs doing karaoke talent contests.
