Anyone got through an MOT with one of these fitted? Even with the baffle in its still bloody loud! I know its road legal but I think noise is at the testers discretion isn't it? I think I might be pushing it with one of these?

nah
unless you're making a mistake in where you're taking it. I gave my unbaffled leovinci full system (car alarm tester) to an mot tester and all he said to me was 'that exhaust sounds bang on'. If it's got the baffle in you've done as much as you can, should be alright.

Had a Street Extreme on my old CBR F, passed no probs with baffles in...
It's stamped anyway and is road legal so I'm sure they have to... Obviously any can, legal or not if its blowing or not fitted correctly will force a MOT failure.... "Discretion" is used when it's a race can that's fitted. |

With the baffles in the Street isn't very loud, louder than stock but then I was riding my SV with the stocker on and heard a squirrel fart in the hedgerow as I rode by, with earplugs in!!!
Why a squirrel had earplugs I never thought to stop and ask...

The MOT man I use is pretty good, so I'll give it a go then. I think my road legal Street Extreme is louder than my Renegade race can! I'll have to have a look and see if the baffle has been cut down or something!

I know my MOT tester fairly well. He is a biker and has been for many, many years. I told him I'd bought the exhaust as a replacement for the race can but thought it was as loud. He said its down to my discretion. You have BS approved and stamped exhaust on there with the baffle fitted. So I have no problem with it. The Boss is about though so when I ask you to start it dont rev it. Then as he walked off he mumbled, Anyway I'm deaf in one ear and my exhaust is louder!
