Default Has anyone fitted halo/angel lights?

Hi,

Has anyone fitted halo/angel lights to their bike?

If so is it easy?

There was a thread about this a while back.

I seem to remember (rightly or wrongly) that they were not road legal though.

Oh... that's rubbish, I thought they would be better than the stock lights, i guess just a xenon conversion.

ad53gj from up scotland fitted some to his TLS, looked pretty mean.

But the halo things are chavvy as f***. And they're only sidelights, you can't actually see anything with them. Upgrade on ad53...s TL was because of projector beam HIDs.

Is the projector beam just the bulb in the middle?

No the projecter is the glass that the bulb shines through

Ad53 ggz has something similiar on his TLS, they look good and are very bright.

They are some sort of HID's though.

Basically what YC said.
