sounds like someone has the same job as me this weekend, its the same as putting them awful 33bhp slides in. half hour in the local dealer so you steal there tools and lift job done, no problems.

You need a lift to fit carb slides?
If easy: 4mm hex 6mm hex needle nose pliers short phillips screwdriver long phillips screwdriver If hard: all of the above plus hammer impact driver 2x 10mm open end spanners I'd advise cleaning and greasing the choke plungers while you're in there.

yc more the work to a height better to work at saves bending over the bike, lift about 6" from the ground and my back doesnt hurt, plus i was also taking the belly pan off that day as it was cracked.

well im ok , i have no engine atm so my carbs are loose so i will be taking them into the lounge to sit and do infront of the fire
