Has any one done one of these? I'm tempted to ask mummy and daddy if i can do one for my birthday. Lambo Murcielago and an Ariel Atom sounds like quite a good day to me and they have spaces for the day after my birthday. Whats peoples experiences of them been?

I have a friend who owns 6th gear experiences.

They have an lp640 and atom.

I can't recommend them enough done a couple of days with them now and they actually let you drive the cars.

The main base is elvington, York. I believe they hold days at other sites now too.

I got my hubby one last year for his 40th, and one for my bruv too so they did them on the same day. Hubby drove an Aston and bruv a ferrari, then they got to play in imprezas and did a session doing handbrake turns on gravel too. They both had a superb day

I'm sure he'll be along to tell you all about them later. He does like to go on a bit.

I did a Lotus Elise day a while back which was good. The Atom would be even more manic so I'd go for that in an instant.

I did a tarmac rally day around Knockhill donkeys ago - in a Sierra!

Whatever you do I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I booked a driving experience for DD's xmas last year. He had a shot of impressa on gravel, then scooby round the track and then a high speed passenger trip in a super scooby. There were lots of fancy cars there - lambo, ferrari and other stuff. www.driversdreamdays.co.uk

this year I got him tank paintballing - must see if he has booked it yet.

I have done 3, one was supposed to be a rally day and it was rubbish. Not sure who it was with but my mum bought it from WH smiths.

We had 3 10 minute sessions in a bog standard (bar a roll cage) 1.4 astra on a gravel (worn out runway) track marked out with cones which was too small and narrow to have any fun.

The second was a Ferrari vs Porsche day with Drivers Dream Days. That was much better, drive a 360 and a 911 as fast as I wanted.

Third and best was a prodrive day at the prodrive track, drive 4 different Subarus on various tracks, high speed, skidpan, handling course. The took an Isuzu pick up round an of road course. The instructors didn't care and let you thrash the cars as much as you wanted but were also very good at giving you feedback on your lines etc.

Did a formula ford day at Silverstone about 15 years ago. good fun, but pretty steralised, no overtaking, and they put you in groups according to how well you coped with the car up and down hanger straight. thankfully when we went out on the circuit i was in the fast group so got to put my foot down. loved the straight box, was good fun but am certain there are better ones than i did
