Default Bike Cutting Out

Hey guys, my bike has recently started to cut out. It first happened sometime last week, when i had to filter most of my way to Uni. I was using lots of clutch control, and as soon as i was pulling up at uni, my bike cut out, but started up fine again, so presumed human error.

After arriving home, it noticed it was struggling to keep revving. It Usually idles at around 1.4k, but it was struggling to break about 1000.

Started it up agin this morning, and initially it runs fine, but after warming up/or changing gear, it cuts out. Starting it again, it struggles, and i need to provide it with a bit of throttle to get it going again.

With regards to the changing gear, no my stand is not down before anyone asks.

Could fuel be struggling to get to my engine?

Any thoughts as to what it could be?

Adjust the idle, if I recall correctly it's in one of the gaps in the frame on the left hand side. If that doesn't help, check the airbox and snorkel for anything blocking it and make sure you've got oil in the engine

do the headlights get considerably brighter when you rev the bike?

have you been riding in the rain a lot?

I would try just adjusting the idle first, mine was doing the same, idle was just set a bit low.

if it coughs and splutters a lot then its more than likely your battery/regulator then. FI bikes need a good condition battery to function properly. if the battery is in good state then check your front cylinder for dampness.

there are loads of threads on the front plug getting wet. other things are coil connectors and damp wiring connectors.
