Default Polishing fork lowers?

Evening all

Quick one for the org.
Whats the easiest way to polish up fork lowers, mine look a little tatty.
Also is it worth clearcoating or is that a waste of time

Wet n dry m8..i did mine cause they were all motteled..great now..i got some 2400 if u want it for final rub...def with clearcoat im going to do mine..

Sorry forgot to mention.. instead of water use autosol..mym8 showed me ..works a treat

I did mine with a drill and polishing mop

Sv ones with autosol only

GSXR ones, started with sisal mop and then various grades of polish until a good sheen was achived, this included polishing out the machining marks on the GSXR uppers

TBH the caliper faces I re-dressed didn't take as long as thought they would.
May try that before wet n dry

How did u dress ya calipers?im going to clearcoat my forks n wheels nxt week as road salt is getting
Me shares in autosol lol. even done my 2 minimoto frames
