Default Oxtar TCS Boots

Anyone got these & managed to reduce squeaking to less than acutely-embarrassing?

Mine have only been used a few weeks, but if anything they're getting louder The oil supplied seems a joke..........

yup i have the same and now they only squeek when it rains

the solution wear them as often as possible to break them in and then get them as dirty as possible

If they're anything like my SMX3's then WD40 works wonders.

Yes,
compared to a pair of Sidi black rain (which were faulty) they are comfortable for me too.
I bought mine from a local dealer, & thought I was going to get a bargain, but the examples that were discounted were the 2003 range & they are much smaller made. I bought a 2004 size 41, & could hardly get my foot into a 2003/41. The older ones are distinguishable by the "OXTAR" name being a sticker & the 2004's having raised plastic lettering. The least gaudy are black/silver. The other colours are black/blue or blk/red.....& there's much more of the blue/red on those.
But christ do they squeak!

I have a pair of them, and I think they are super! Really comfortable, the only bad thing is, as you said, the bloody squeaking! It comes with a small tube of silicone oil (or something like that) that stops the noice. I can strongly recommend the boots!

When I first got my Sidi boots, that's the exact same comment that was made to me
