wah hey back from bushys beer tent at the TT and first job was to fit new exhaust.
Cut through the pipe with hacksaw (4 blades!!!) and fitted everything. Sounds the mutts nutts, although it seems too stick out a bit too much. Could I have been sent the wrong link pipe? Has anyone fitted one of these to a K5? should the link pipe bolt to the outside of the footpeg or the inside? cheers peeps! |

Hi,
Not sure how much these pictures will help, but I had the same can fitted last week. http://www.zen19850.zen.co.uk/pics/S...%20Can%201.JPG http://www.zen19850.zen.co.uk/pics/S...%20Can%202.JPG http://www.zen19850.zen.co.uk/pics/S...%20Can%203.JPG http://www.zen19850.zen.co.uk/pics/DSC01767.JPG The last one is an overhead view of the can and connecting pipe. This was fitted by my Suzuki dealer. If you want any more photo's for reference then let me know. Sound good don't they. ![]() Blindly...... |

u need to twist the pipe and the can around- a small change at the link end makes a wide diff to the distance the can is from the bike...a little wash up liquid inside the link pipe and then just twist it around is axis

Hi
I understood from Seastar that the K5 needed a different link pipe. Hence why I have not ordered one yet. They may have been telling porkies though. |
