I pay £130 on my 2000 curvy for comprehensive cover with recovery/legal etc. 2 years ncb but an old git at 45 in Preston. eBike.

So I would have expected that with a full NCB you should be able to get well less than the ton for TPFT

nah, i think that they get down to a low figure and dont go any lower, if they go much less than that its not worth them doing the paperwork

I am 29 & bought my first bike in March this year (SV650S).
I am paying £330 fully comp with £500 excess. Thats with Motorcycle Direct, the main reason that I bought the bike I did really.

Fell off my chair when the quote came through. Closest I got was £410 from Bennets.

I live 4 miles from Glasgow airport.

BH that's a cracking deal. My Hornet is £475 FC. I was in the same school year as Wilky. No NCB and I had a claim in the previous year, but postcode is low crime area SY3 and I'm a solicitor so perceived as a risk avoider. Renewal in Feb, I shall be looking to change broker. I'm with Bennetts at the moment.

I'm insured through Choice Quote, 21 with 5 years no claims and no convictions etc and I have to pay £330 TPF&T with a £200 excess [edit] on a 2000 SV650S unrestricted.

I never see the point in going fully comp any more after my dad got fleeced when some pumper nicked his bike. With the extra you pay and the excesses it hardly seems worth it IMO.
