Default What One Thing?

That other Bikers do REALLY gets your goat? Here's mine!

Imagine the scene. Biker meeting place, brand new sports bike pulls up, rider tricked out in all the gear, young child riding pillion wearing a badly fitting helmet, jeans and trainers. I know bike gear for kids is expensive, I know they grow out of stuff quickly, but just how much is a child's life worth?

When I catch them up filtering, and they refuse to let me past. Mostly a 125 rider thing, trying to prove their bike is fast, cos I used to do it :P Oh, and when weekend warriors fly past me on straights on their R1s etc, then won't move out the way on the twisties. Those 2 annoy me the most, as you can tell I hate being held up lol

Aggressive attitudes when it is also accompanied with aggressive riding.

People not cutting newer riders some slack.
People adopting the biker victim mentality to presume anything by any other road user is deliberate.
People pretending to be a riding god and have a god given right not to be held up. :P
People not having a conception the rider in front might just be dealing with a hazzard they havent seen or doesnt see a safe opportunity to pull over.

Ime those that do it deliberately are rare. Most often riders arent looking in their mirrors because theyre concentrating on more immediate and potentially life threatening hazzards. Having someone right up your **** while youre in that position annoys the f&*k out of me because they become a big hazzard.

*and breathes

:P

Glad Lissa said one thing!

Clothing aside (oh err), aggressive filtering has to be the worst habit I see - the type that when there is 12 people filtering nose to tail in 2 mile queue of traffic have to try and push in the gaps and blocks each rider one by one or causes a crash (so slowing everyone down, touching cars, knocking mirrors, riding right on youur shoulder) - fortunately this is rare, maybe see this half dozen times a year.

Plenty annoys me, one of which is cars not giving L platers any room (including scoots)

Another is ending up behind an L plater that tries his very best to go as fast as possible because he's seen you behind him, to the point of putting himself at risk.

The big head that races up behind you on a journey, you can see him miles back doing dodgy overtakes, then when you let him pass he slows you down even though you havent changed the speed at which you were riding.

I could do this all night!!

Pretty much nothing annoys me out on the roads. I have the mentality that if someone else is doing something, so long as I give them a wide birth & they don't affect me detrimentally, hey, it's their lives! Let them stress about it!

The only thing that P*55es me off really though is the CBT riders out wearing no decent gear. Only just started their biking career, and want to end it prematurely by the looks. Well, thinking about it, anyone wearing the wrong gear. I refuse to let anyone so much as sit on my beloved (or is that obsessed about) SV unless I know that they can either handle a bike (and I have the keys) or they are wearing full kit (pillions get away with denim - just). Riders or pillions.

It's just not worth the skin, bone & emotional pain folks. (But try telling them that, will they listen? lol)
