Default End of camel yamaha

Quote from Yamaha racing site:

Quote:
Following Camel’s recent announcement, Yamaha Factory Racing would like to express its thanks to Camel and Japan Tobacco International for their partnership and support over the 2006 MotoGP season.

Our thanks go out to all those involved in the project; they have formed an important part of our team over the past year.

It has been a great honour for Yamaha to work with such an experienced sponsor and Camel’s enthusiasm throughout the season has been greatly appreciated by the entire Yamaha Factory Racing Team and the Yamaha Motor Group.

Wow! Seriously? That was a short relationship. I wonder who yamaha will have sponsor them? Maybe Nasto Azzuro, like the old times for Vale on his NSR500's and aprillia's!

Let's hope they find someone with nice colours, I didn't like the Camel nor the Gauloises ones.

Reading between the lines it would seem that the association with Valentino for Camel has been nowhere as success full in Italy as it was when they worked with Max Biaggi. The Camel brand is very big in Italy and it worked well with the Roman Emperor.

BTW he has just got engaged I believe to a former Miss Italy. (Does he know they all end up the size of a Hippo in a black cloak over time? )

Biaggi raced under Camel colours for a year only no? Judging by the fact that they withdraw completely from MotoGP it seems to me that they don't think they gained a benefit as huge as their investment, seeing their MotoGP involvement as a whole.
