186mph on the clock! (speedo error)
Hi all
Well went for a blast on the bike today, and after giving it some beans over the moor I dropped into a 40 zone, i looked at the clocks to be amazed to see I was doing 186mph!! I pulled over, stopped the bike, went to restart... nothing.. no lights.... balls. Quick check of the battery and the black connector had come off! Phew! I did wonder that 186mph didnt feel as fast as it should do! (let alone the SV going that fast!)

Have you modified the bike in anyway? I didnt think the SV could reach that sorta speed?

Yes. He modified it by way of removal of the black connector.

Heh, mine read 340 in traffic once - the speedo was kaputt.
