Default not quite a newby

Well here goes, first post.

Brought new sv650sport on first of month in blue but reg doc says silver, someones got a tad mixed up there i think but what the hell.

First new bike in many years and I love it to bits. Been riding longer than I care to mention but passed test in mid 70's and been riding ever since. Decided earlier in year to hang up gear but extremely understanding wife shoved cash in my hand and told me to go to the bike shop and not come home without big grin.

Well the bikes been here nearly two weeks now and the grins not gone yet. Its in for first service on saturday, due to very good weather recently managed to put 550 miles on it so far.

very pleased with purchase and happy to have stumbled onto this site, look forward to many years enjoyment from both.

safe riding & fill your visor with a grin.

Alan.

Welcome to the mad house!

If I were you, I'd get that document issue sorted, it could be the cause of something sticky if you get a slapped wrist from Plod.

Oh yea, and can I borrow your wife? (No, not like that! For the cash, obviously!)

Welcome. Wouldn't happen to be the same beautiful shade of blue as this handsome creature would it?

Because if it is, then it is officially silver...

Welcome! Yea, get the document sorted out - not only could it have issuse with Mr Copper but if in the future you want to upgrade to an SV1000s, then someone might be suspect buying a blue bike when the paperwork says silver (thats if you decide to sell and get something else!). Anyway, good choice of motorcycle as I'm sure your aware!

Yes it is the same as your handsome creature Tiger and having contacted the shop it looks as if they are officially silver, still looks blue to me though.

Baph, unfortunatly me and the kids are attached to wifey and we don't want to let her out just yet, don't think many would blame me there !!
