Newbie saying hi

Hi there

I'm new to the site, but not the SV's. I've had my SV since 1999. Got knocked off it in 2000, then rebuilt it, then once the tax ran out in 2003, I left it in my garden as I couldn't afford car and bike and the car was too important to me at the time.

Over the last coupleof years though, I have been looking at her and thinking about getting it back on the road, though without actually doing anything about it. That has now all changed. I have stripped the front end to change the fork seals as they have perished over time, and I am currently sourcing bits to get the build going over the next few weeks.

My aim is to get her back on the road by the end of May so I don't miss out on too much of this gorgeous sun. At the end of the year, it will come off the road again and stripped in preperation for a full streetfighter overhaul.

Well that is the aim anyway, and I hope to get a few idea's from the site and look forward to meeting a few of you once she is back on the road again. I hope I haven't bored you all to death as I don't normally write essay's!

or people that stupidly drank beer and now contemplating getting the autosol out in stead..........Welcome......think we should get the herts riders on an outing soon.....
