I have got a 650 K3 2004 and have recently fitted a Beowulf Warrior Can.
However, since fitting it...the bikes not running right.... not sure how to describe it....in second and third its draggin as if its restricted in some way, like holding the power back. Initially I thought it was cos the baffles were out, but it doing it with the baffles in. Any thoughts. |

I thought K3's and above didnt need rejetting.... ...i thought the fuel injected sv's sorted themselves out.

No they dont. They only have basic fuel injection and it doesnt automatically adjust itself.

The Beowulf website reckons you should need to do anything...after fitting one of their cans.....but something isnt right. I am not at all mechanical. So would be grateful if anyone can suggest anything, other than put the standard can back on.

Sounds like and I'm not 100% sure, that perhaps the bike is running lean and thats why the power isnt as it should be.
The only way you're really going to tell, is to take it somewhere and get it Dyno'd and then get the bike setup for the can either with a Yoshi Box or a Power Commander. I wouldnt have thought that idle speed would be the problem I tend to run my SV at quite a high idle so I dont think its that. My other halfs K5 ran fine we she had the Remus put on it, didnt need any changes at all.

If tis straight through pipe, then the gases can leave the bike easier, letting more gas in....
It'll need remapping, so that'll be a power commander then. Or can a suzuki techie plug in a laptop and tune it up manually? Matt |

I dont know, have a google for it you'll find prices easy enough.
Once you've bought the commander you'll then need a fuel map putting on it, it really is I would think best to get somebody who knows what they are doing to sort this for you. Its not simply a case of plugging the Power Commander in and it magically sorting the fueling out. You're defo 100% sure the bike ran fine with the standard exhaust on it..
