anyone rate the buell motorbikes??i wont one

im going to change my sv650 in a year or 2 and the buell lighting is top of my list anyone got one or has been on one, whats the spec on them ?????

ive rode a xb12r firebolt, bit like a vibrating box of bolts on tickover it makes ya teeth and ribs rattle but when your moving WOW the engine smooths out and you've got a dollop load of torque and they handle like a dream.

Do a search, it's been covered a lot. Tends to be a love/hate thing

Superb technolgy and design.
Very very very small bike, lots of torque.

If its a fast back roader you want, the Buell isn't for you. If you do short a-b trips, bombing round towns etc, its perfect.

EvilTwin on here knows a fair bit about them I think - used to do some work for a dealership...hopefully he will be along soon...

are they really no quicker than a sv650, they have more hp and are 1200 cc

most modern bikes are pretty much similar 0-60 but i find the buell quicker than the 650s around the 80-90-100 mark, you still have a fist full of tugg spare.

I think its the 9 thats no faster...

It's hard to understand that article. It looks like the GSXR was tested by a journalist previously, and the Buell and SV were tested by this 'national race champion'. That would account for the SV doing so well!

No way! A full power SV quicker than a gsxr1000 to 60 mph?!?!
