I've learnt my lesson never to go into a dealer until I am really sure I want a new bike. Both my current and my last bikes were impulse buys after just having a nose around the dealer. The dealer didn't have to do much, I sold each bike to myself without any help from them!

Agree, caution required! 2005, blue (shame I've got red leathers), low mileage, perfect nick but I don't like the cheap Motrax tank protector so that would have to come off.

As the proud owner of a shiny blue 06 Sprint ST I have to warn you not to take a test ride...cause then you'll have to buy it!

The power from the engine is awesome in any gear, want to overtake pretty much anything? Just twist the wrist in any gear and your off! Easy through town as well, although all bikes using the new 1050 engine run hot and you can experience a lot of heat on to your lower legs. Very nice in the crap weather, not so good stop, start, and slow riding about a busy town centre in the midst of summer. That said, it didn't stop me buying the bike and most folk with full leathers claim not to notice at all!

I tried it and didn't like it.... In fact I tried it twice, the 2nd time I had for 3 hours, and as much as I wanted to love it, I just didn't like it. Mirrors vibrate terribly, the suspension was far too soft and I hate those clocks. I don't have to ride with my glasses on, but would to see that speedo....

So, even though I love the bike to look at, I just didn't get on with it, even though I really wanted to.....

Went from the SV650s to a 955 ST and now the 1050 ST, just got back from Ireland on it 2000 miles in 8 days not an ache anywhere. It goes well stops well, and the burble from the pipe on the overrun is magic.

They just need to fit a belt drive as 2 complete days of rain took all the chain lube off.
