how often do you wash your bike?

Not as often as it deserves

About once every 3-4 months

It gets sprayed with acf50 after that so it's better off filthy until I clean it again. Works well - I've ridden through the last 2 winters and there's no significant corrosion, it's just dirty.

I used to wash it once a week, then that went to twice a month, now its whenever i can be arsed. Usualy when the wheels are black and not orange

I attempt once a week, though that generally turns into once a month due to the list of jobs I end up getting from SWMBO...

Same here although i do wash it a bit more offten during the winter maybe once a month. In the summer i was it every 2 weeks or so, just because its seen more

When I feel like it.

Sometimes I wash it even when it hasn't been out for ages.
Sometimes I leave it dirty for a while.

i voted never because i never actully wash it it never gets dirty so i just polish it about twice a week .

I have a washing question.

I have heard a few ways of removing grease from the swing arm and rear wheel. On my old trail bike I used petrol which was really effective but didn't leave a good finish really and is very smelly and bad for your hands. I was recently told by a friend in a bike shop that they use WD40.

What do you guys use and how do you do it?
