About once every 3-4 months
It gets sprayed with acf50 after that so it's better off filthy until I clean it again. Works well - I've ridden through the last 2 winters and there's no significant corrosion, it's just dirty. |

I attempt once a week, though that generally turns into once a month due to the list of jobs I end up getting from SWMBO...

When I feel like it.
Sometimes I wash it even when it hasn't been out for ages. Sometimes I leave it dirty for a while. |

I have a washing question.
I have heard a few ways of removing grease from the swing arm and rear wheel. On my old trail bike I used petrol which was really effective but didn't leave a good finish really and is very smelly and bad for your hands. I was recently told by a friend in a bike shop that they use WD40. What do you guys use and how do you do it? Matt. |
