When you consider the head of population per country it is amazing that the smaller countries can field the teams that they do. In comparison France and Italy are blinking big countries compared to Ireland,Wales and Scotland,ok,England may not be quite as big but still have a large pool to make their selection from and perhaps should have a more even chance

Just love it when under dogs win,but not surprised when they lose

Funny, he didn't make that mistake again...
Why do the English always think they are the center of the universe?
Crying in my beer watching another Wales loss. Check my location fella! (and my wildly optimistic predictions at the start of the thread! ) If we'd kicked all our points, we would have been within 3 points of France - so not a bad display. Just 3 losses on the bounce

I'm now scared Wales will get the wooden spoon this year, not going to happen of course, Wales will win their final 2 games against Italy and England

And I guess my accidental voting for France was a gut instinct which proves right.

I think Ireland have been in the six nations long enough.

Can they please be replaced by those rugby goliaths, Canada.

In fairness those boys aren't that bad. Seriously. Obviously Ireland would hockey them, but, you know, a team like, say... England would have their work cut out.

I met an ex Puma. On the side of a mountain in the Argentine Andes. Cacho something or other. Big lad and all.

Oh right, the previous posts were sarcasm!

I remember the last time Argentina played England. And when they played Wales last year as well

Yeah - they are great to watch too - remind me of Italy but with a decent forward pack.

We had a national team come to a world 1st fiteen comp back at school (in NZ). I only mention it because you mentioned hockey - they brought their national hockey team with them - the girl version - and by crikey were they drooled over.
