I have an 020 on the front at the mo... its a good tyre, especially for this time of year you could do far worse
Cool, might just do that for now as i've got a big service to pay for aswell and when they both wear out i'll try some of the M6's.

Cheers!

Hmmm, think i might get the 020 for now then toss a coin for the M6's or the pilot 2's when it comes to changing them!

Noo get the Z6's if your going to get anything. I had 4 sets of 020's and then changed to a set of Z6's they are IMHO superior to the 020 and they last a little longer to. They were cheaper than the 020's as well when I got mine.

I'm not really sure, I think Liz was getting around 6 - 7 thousand out of a rear Z6 on her commute.

They defiantely wear better and last longer than 020's do, plus they give better grip to.

BIKE magazine, which came out this month on Friday just gone, has an article on the Pilot 2's. They reckon they're much better than the 1st generation Pilots. They also have a race derived dual-compound, which is a first for a sport-touring tyre.

IIRC the BT020s were said to be dual compound too I know I ride slow, but my rear one looked new when I bought the bike 2 years and 6000 miles ago, and still has plenty of life left even though it's squared off. It'll be Z6 time next, though. Got one on the front and I'm loving it.

Yes Bridgestone have been dual compound on quite a few of their range for years ... the 010s were ... as were the 020s ... I presume stuff like 014s are too!?!?

I just bought some Pilot Road 2's and they feel great on my bike. £177 too.
