Default Had my bike flat out tonight

Coming home from work tonight the motorway was empty so I decided to see what the bike could do-was practically lying on the tank and the speedo eventually crept up to just under the 140-so i'd guess that it would be nearer the 120-bike felt fantastic, as if i was riding on air-still buzzing at the moment-i love my bike

I done it twice, just for the buzz. I've had it now so won't bother again. I got 136 indicated out of mine. It's good to see what happens when you sit up though when the wind blast slows you down.

Its like an air brake doing that, amazing how much it effects the speed.

Which leaves the question....I wonder how much more could be had if suzuki hadnt just thrown the SV's together cheapily

Of course it was(well it was empty and i was the only one on it so it counts as mine then)-new cans sound amazing-much more smoother rip than the stubby,i've notice that the bike also seems to run better with them.

126 to 133 mph if you say that the over read is between 5 and 10%. My speedo is 10% over at any speed according to my sat nav and I think thats about as bad as it gets. 50 = 45, 70 = 63, 90 = 81, etc, etc

I've seen 136 on the clock twice....erm.... was almost twenty-to-two at the time. phew.

It wears off. I fear when I get something quicker I will feel I have to go quicker. I get more joy from the 30 to 80 blast on the sv now though, it leaps out of corners in second with a few revs on, brilliant
