Bare in mind the M&P one comes with the dual applicator - but otherwise this is a normal price for anywhere

Why?? Dont be silly! Why not! It's not worth the £20 Scottoiler reckon its worth thats for sure, I wouldnt have paid more than maybe £8 if I was to buy it seperately.

And definately, if you're not gonna use it, flog it on ebay, someone will buy it.

Waste of effort.

Single sided injectors get oil to both sides just fine, bikes with the original one have got some silly mileages out of chains. The dual thing, IMO is just a gimmick.

PLease remember that if you set your Scottoiler so that the oil is just starting to fling at the back wheel - there is a HUGE mess on the front sprocket. Set it up so that the chain appears wet all the time, but NO MORE!

How much room does this take up?

I've already got a PCIII, an Autocom and a toolkit under the seat. The loom runs down the nearside of the rear subframe and I've got an alarm down the offside!

Regards
Phil

Here's the photos I said I'd take, bigger versions are available on my flickr.com account - address shown in my sig:

The RMV in under the seat. You can see the breather pipe goes rearwards and curls under that crosssmember just in front of the rear light. I zip-tied it at the very end. The clamp is bolted to the upright plastic side piece and there's loads of room at the bottom for the delivery pipe to meander about in. I mounted it high so I could fill it easily - I'm not bothered if it takes up bootspace.

The vacuum connection, sorry about the crap shot. This was taken between the frame rails from the right side of the bike.

The delivery pipe under the swingarm. I'll be doing away with the cable ties because I think they look crap. I'll be using brake line P-clips screwed into holes I'll be tapping in the swingarm

Have you removed the pipe and replaced it with the scottoiler pipe?

Because right it front of it is the spare vacuum connector on its larry!

It's plugged into where I originally found it plugged into when I bought the bike. I removed the Scottoiler and plugged the pipe on the throttle body when I had plans to make a trackbike of it, but refitted it a little while ago into the same place. I haven't a clue what went on that brass spigot before, I presumed it was a rubber plug like the other one visible.

Either way, the Scottoiler works fine and the bike runs ok too, so I'm not bothered.
