well i showed up at the shire horse about 11.40 and there was no one so i turned around and went home. Never been to the ace and hadnt bothered to look it up so went and made a roast dinner instead

If you posted i would have met you at the Shire! I assumed noone was meeting there for the run up, so didn't bother.
