e) None of the above.

None of those indicator set-ups are legal, as the indys need to be at least 240mm apart, and to run them connected as well as another set of indies is also illegal as you may only have one indicator per side at the rear (so 2 total)

Dont bother, the stock pointy undertray is separate from the shovel and stays in place and works fine without the mudguard on.

Just get a decent tail tidy to hang your plate and indicators on.

That must be why Northy, Lissa and me prefered it then

Took some pics of the stock undertray with a Tail-tidy on it - click on the small pic for a larger version.

Oh and yes, I know the bike is filthy....

Is it just me, or does the JMV one seem to be the only one that retains/has some form of number plate light?

Is it legal/MOT req'd to have a number plate light?

Plastic's expensive for small runs- the injection mould process is very setup intensive. That's why most aftermarket parts are fibreglass.

David makes a good point about legality, but then his legal indicators seem to be peeking round the side of an illegal number plate He's absolutely right of course, but I can't remember ever hearing of anyone being stopped for having their indicators too close together. Though combining close together indicators with rubbish visibility is asking for trouble I'm sure, that's why I dislike the Ermax on.

Hey I didnt say dont use it - I just point out the facts and let others decide what they want to do with the info.

Tho like you, I quite like the idea of cars being able to see which way I am planning on going.

As for the number plate - its a VERY strange angle on a VERY dirty plate - can all be deceptive.....................

No number plate mount on either the hotbodoes or mototech. I'd go for the Ermax one without the indicators and just use small led indicators on a bracket by the number plate.
