At speeds <20mph(ish) you need to turn the bars the correct way ... i.e. going right, pull right handlebar, push left ... surely countersteering at slow speed would send you left (if intending to go right)?

Its not exactly countersteering in the normal manor. If I left the handle bars to turn into the corner by themselves then they feel like they will turn too far... So I have to push against the handle bars to stop this, feels a lot like countersteering constantly... I suppose it is countersteering in a sense. Hope that is clearer than mud. :P

Ah gottya - yeah the bike tends to 'fall in' and you have to stop the bars from turning, not really turning them the other way, just stopping them from turning more by themselves!! .... I find this is quite pronounced if you put a 70 section front on an SV ... I really don't like 'fighting' the front like this and why I don't recommend it for road use

Might be why the Falco does it then... But ill tell you it makes sense on the long corners and the fast tight stuff too. OH BABY. Love it..

What's your definition of 'long corners and the fast tight stuff'?

Not sure if your bike is 60 section as standard, but I'd say its gotta be impossible to outride a 60 section tyre on the road?!!? Anyone who says so is going so fast its not long before someone/thing catches them out or simply full of it

Well long corners would be like hmph guess its hard to explain without showing someone... Sweeping corners where you don't have to slow down you just lean in and keep the throttle pinned.

Fast tighter ones... There is a bypass near my house which has roundabouts on it with no exits (so no other traffic except the bypass uses the roundabouts) so you can hammer it round. Break hard going in lean it to the left flick it to the right (knee down action if that's what you like) then flick it to the left again and gun it.

My rear is a 180/55x17 on a 6" rim.
