Phoenix indeed got his first outing at Silverstone GP on the 31st Mar 2008 ...

Videos of him destroying the pack to follow

Just to be clear, Phoenix is the one on the left with headlights

Reminds me of this, Eddie Van Halen's "Frankenstein" :

Though if that sounds like a compliment, it should be remembered he was permanently high for a week before he "made" it

2 observations:

It must be so annoying doing all the hard work in the corners, then having people just blast buy you on the straights. I couldn't accept that!

Just watching that really shows how early people brake for the corners, you out brake them by miles.

Good to see Phoenix in action!

Phoenix is actually running 1 Bandit front disc and one SV front disc and god knows how old and what pads, and stock bandit 600 forks ... so it is a bit of a front-end lash-up too!!

From my experience the biggest single place I see trackdayers loosing time is on the brakes ...

looks like there was plenty of throttle jocky's on big engined bikes. Was this the fast group I assume?

You can see some of them sitting up like they are riding to the shops and flying past on the straights! Bet they'ld be pi$$ed if they knew what was passing them
