I just spent 10 mins writing a detailed reply and then accidentally caught the f5 button = refresh. Deleted the bloody lot.

The design is based on the top 3 books listed here - basically a cheap lotus/caterham 7. Uses a 2.0 pinto engine and running gear from a ford sierra (although there are many variations including the use of a mazda mx5 engine/bmw e36 engine and respective running gears).

They weigh around 750 kg's, rear wheel drive, chriss gibbs design has independent rear sussupension and use existing/recycled engine/drive trains. Spoken with quite a few people who have no prior knowledge of engines/engineering prior to building one. Been toying with the idea of building one as an ongoing project to keep me busy through autumn/winter/start of spring but we'll have to see how the money's looking.

You fancy helping me out chris?

Hey Jamie! (Janie?)

I'm in VA.

Say......
You and hubby and another yellow C6 (hardtop) didn't happen to race (unofficially of course) a blue SV through the dragon back in May of 05 did you???
I won BTW ... after the vette in front (the conv) got up on 2 wheels....
Great fun... was hitting rev limiter in 3rd down every straight.

Probably not you ... as both vettes were staying at the Microtel in Robbinsville.
But....If it was you...you will deffinately remember. It was a wild ride!!!

Oh and.....
Welcome to the Org!!!

Will probably hit the dragon ...sometime in July (I think)...... with a group of "nice" friends.
Maybe you and hubby can join us for a ride?
I think you'd fit right in, being about the same age/type folks as the rest of us. (Other ladies in group as well)

And yes... my avatar's a killboy pic.
