Fines are means tested, if you earn a lot, you pay a lot.

hmm, ok, what did we learn tonight...

1. like pete says, some tiny bike weights over half a ton, nice to see the cop has some idea of how motorcycles work

2. if you deliberately try to run a bike off the road and the police get you on film, just say he gave you the V and you'll get away with it, ****ing tosser, he had the video, i'd have asked to go to court and see if they made the DD charge stick with no video...

3. a lupo is capable of hitting 125mph, damn good effort there,

shame they only recorded the last one with a hand-held camera - i thought they weren't meant to be used (pete?), as the coppers who showed up at the local bike meet tonight demonstrated by getting a 60mph reading off a busa just by a slight wrist twitch, the busa was parked in a bay about 20ft away

he got a ban aswell but only for 42 days so he doesnt have to redo his test

still with those 6 points and the ban he won't be able to afford to insure his little lupo

Can anyone shed some light on that, I do it all the time deliberately, I think it might even be mentioned in the roadcraft book.

BBC hence propaganda...

Anyway I don't think anything there was undeserved, SP1 man was going like f### past a crossroads which is a bit silly.

That sort of policing seems pretty sensible, especially pulling over range rovers with blondes driving Lad in the lupo, good effort, I didn't think they'd get up to that!

I knew they were fast, but flippin eck, thats really clever!

And I think that "wrong side of the white lines" comment was "wrong side on white lines on a blind bend"

We can all edit in our favour eh?

it was a GTI, i knew they were swift...

pete: brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "looks like it's going 100mph standing still"

so are you allowed to use hand-helds? surely the fact that they can give such crazy supposedly "accurate" readings would be a nightmare in court?
