Top post... I just kept mine secret til it was done, in case I ****ed it all up Looking very good... Have you testfitted grips etc onto the clipons by the way? You might find the extra thickness of the powdercoat gives you some minor grief there.

How clean is that shock

Peeps on the 675 site recommend using a compresseor with the grips if you can! Easiest way to get them on and off the bar

Nothing like washing your dirty laundry in public to focus the mind.

I have thought about the poweder coat giving me issues with grips. I haven't test fitted anything to do with the controls as I don't want to take my bike off the road for any longer than I have to.

I have an ambitious plan...

Remove fairings and stuff from bike on saturday morning. Fill the car with all the new shiny bits.

Ride bike to my brothers garage in time for closing (5pm). Get other half to follow in the car.
Hit bike with large hammer until standard parts drop off.

Fit new springy-bits, wheel, other parts. Bleed brakes, assembe speedo wiring.

Ride sudo-naked-Frankenbike home on sunday evening, revelling in the tartiness of shiny USD's.

Refit fairings and instantly become a challenger for the MotoGP title with the increased quality of my springy-bits.

Its very clean. I am always dubious when people say "its low milage...ace condition etc" but this one does look like it has only seen the 1500 dry miles the seller said. The photo was taken straight out of the packaging.

I had it delivered to work - and it came through the internal mail looing like some dodgy sex toy!

Would a 120/60 be the end of the world?

No, and many prefer the 120/60 plus the SV is only type approved for this size tyre.

Don't forget that the GSXR forks are shorter than the SV forks, the front will be lower!

Might not be the end of the world but might end in a ditch....see what I did there ? . Use a 120/70 IMHO .

Infact I'll go as far as saying, seeing as the GSXR forks are shorter(by my calculations about 25mm), logic dictates that you run a 120/70

Dave, the GSXR forks are also not 'type approved' for the SV .

Ben
ps:amnesia, are you going to the AE ?
