Question Shortening Stock Can

right, my bike already has a beowulf can on it but i want a new project
im planning on taking the stock pipe and cutting it open, taking all of the baffling crap outa it and also shortening it so it essentially a straighthrough stubby, as i think this would be loud as hell and look quite cool as well, has anyone done this before that can give me pointers/advice and does anyone have pics or anything of what to expect inside the can? i have seen videos of other peoples cans cut up off ninjas n stuff and they always have random tubes etc in them... im really just lookin for any advice and tips for this job!!
cheers for any help guys!!
