Not really, but the problem I fear with another Curvy is, well i had a connection with my old one, and it might not be as good.... if you know what i mean.

its like getting up in a morning and having a really great coffee, no matter what care you put into making the next one, it'll never be as good as that 1st tast

I do understand that actually. I have two of them, and, when I first got the black SV I hated it, because Suzys my babe, Suzy is the family bike, bought new, and stayed in the family. Even with all the crap I've had with rebuilding Suzy, shes still my babe. Its taken me about a year to get to love the black one(and a new front end after the deer thing).....it wasn't until DazR6 said he loved the noise of the can a couple of weeks back that I started loving it.

Hey thought I would post an update,

Insurance lads have come through and the offer is 1775 - my 200 excess..... Made my mind up, gonna be another SV...I tried to move on, i tried to look and love another, but you never forget your true love do you.

Ebay seems very attractive at the moment....Just need the cheque to cash so i can spend. Think I would Love a pointy just so Iv got a newer bike, but only got about 1800 to spend so doubt ill get one. So Curvey (which admitably is the better bike, i just like nice new shiney ones)

I'm off to maidstone kent for a 3 day training course at end of the month so im crossing fingers that I can get one before so that i can spend the evenings explring the local roads, instead of sat on my lonesome in a hotel room. I SV's

And for anyone who hasn't read this months BIKE, the SV's in it in a group test. It looses unfortunatly, but not without a fight, and it's hilerious cause the writer spends most of the artical saying how fantastic it is.

I couldnt stand the nostalgia any longer, and to hovis's delight, this tuesday i shall be picking up my YELLOW Curvy, complete with Lowers, Carbon hugger, tail tidy, Alarm and double bubble.
