2007 ZX-6R is closer to 90 mph in 1st gear.. Kwaks main reason was to put 1st and 2nd gear closer together so on track for tight corners, 1st is a usable gear instead of just for pulling off. Though it needs to be revved to pull off quickly, or change the cogs about a bit for a little bit more front wheel in the air action.. hehehe, I remember that photo Alex, the days when the sun use to shine ![]() |

I do like to wind people up though... seems to work too well sometimes... touch a nerve on here I think though i didnt aim to wind up on this thread. ![]() Man im sorry Mr Kwak I seem to have found myself in trouble ![]() ![]() P.S. The only thing Ive read that irritates me a little is people saying 600's have a usable mid range. Yes you can cruise at it.. but would you dream of comming out of a corner in 4th at 50mph and hope to get a good drive? Id say not. Or overtaking in 6th gear at 40mph? Flame me if you feel you need to. ![]() Last edited by ThEGr33k; 17-08-08 at 07:30 PM. |

![]() I know what you say. Its not as bad in the mid range as you expected. Its still not great. 600's are all about the top end of the rev range... You dont get one for torque or bottom end pull. For that you need more CC's. |

Well I got to test ride the GSXR today and all I can say is OWWWWW my bum !!!
Nice bike, noisey but nice Daz, veryy revvy. Not built for a pillion ha ha ha. I was impressed with just how smooth it was, alot nicer than the SV thou to be pillion on, either that or your riding suddenly improved LOL. Nice bike I rate it, may even get me one in black ![]()

Kate found the gixer 6 to be more comfortable than the sv also, thinks it's cuz they tend to be smoother so feel nicer for a pillion!
