Unless of course your subtly meaning and having a dig at armchair bikers without directly saying it lol, those who sit and procastrinate but never actually do half they say they are going too.

That does indeed annoy me, but I was just really admitting I talk about it more than actually do it ...

... a bit like s3x ... ... but then that is the same for all of us right!?!? ... especially girls ... they talk about it all the time, but rarely actually put-out!!! ... hence why us guys have such a low talk-do ratio!!

I make a point of going to work by bike so I use it most days, but as thats only about ten minutes each way I have to admit to being more talk than ride.I did ride it for two hours today though.

I often think YC has a secret qualification in this language as I can guarantee withing 5 minutes (at the most) of meeting someone he'll have turned the conversation round to bikes

I seem to have spent tons of time on the bike this summer, both as a pillion and occasionally not (read into that what you will...lol) and I do end to chat to people about them but I tend to have conversations about varying topics

My first year of biking is up at the start of November. I was on course to do about 18,000 miles in that year, but then rode across a ditch and snapped my forks, which was 4 months a go. I've been pillion once since then and rode my bike up and down the street a couple of days a go.. But once my bike is back on the road, I will definitely be riding more than talking about bikes

Miss YC- It's not a decent conversation unless bikes are mentioned

that's what I'd say but a lot of people unfortunately seem to think differently, what can I do but humour them
