i did not say he was sh*t

i said he was up for a big award (and the bookies favorate), after losing the championship.........

but he lost the british sportsman award aswell.............. so all is good

Hamilton = 8 Wins
Coulthard = 13
Button IIRC has 1 Gp win to his name.

So no not quite right, However I do believe Lewis will overtake Coulthard at some point this year or next.

Jenson is a classic example of to much to soon and then making a poor team choice. Cant say that about Lewis.

Thing is with Lewis, he's made a couple of comments that I dont think sit well with me. I realise being arrogant and driven is part of his F1 mentality I just dont think he comes across well in the F1 ITV interviews he does. The stuff like "nobody passes me around the outside" thing he said at Spa. He put Glock onto the Grass at Monza, which even Martin Brundle said was a risky move and "he doesnt do himself any favours does he" I think you be a winner and not be a c*ck about it at the same time.

As for the sports Personality its all a damn farce anyway, it depends on the popularity of your sport...

I think if he plays it right he will go on to be the Rossi of F1

Not so sure... I dont think he has the personality of Rossi, I think he has the potential to be the next Michael Schumacher of F1 though. But he needs to learn to calm himself down. the overtake on Kimi at Spa was classic hamilton being to keen, Yes Kimi didnt leave him room, but if Lewis had taken a deep breathe and waited before repassing he wouldnt have given the stewards the opportunity to do what he did. Same thing as last year when he stayed on out knackered wet tyres to long and then getting in a fluff in Brazil on the first or 2nd corner and pressing the wrong button on his steering wheel and knocking the car out of gear. He puts himself under to much pressure and then he makes mistakes. Hence what I said about him growing up a little...

I think we as a nation expect to much to soon of our sportsmen and then when they make mistakes we're over critcal ( yes I realise I'm doing it now )

It sort of annoys me how many people have forgotten about Jenson Button. I remember going to Silverstone for the first time about 4 years ago and everyone (about 80% of the crowd) wearing thier BAR / Jenson Button hats many of which are probably being sold at car boots or in peoples lofts. Fickle fans just following whoevers stock is up.

he seems like quite a nice bloke but he reminds me a bit of the liquid metal terminator in t2. if he has a accident some day he may pool back together?
