its not about asking permission...... its about having feelings for somebody so strong that you could not hurt them in that way!

Blue, there are a number of reasons that we are different to animals. One is that the majority of them have sharper teeth than we do! Another is that we have a more complex brain, capable of things like emotions.

Gid, to answer your question, no. My approach would be to explain to said friend that should you find out about it happening again, you would feel compelled to inform their partner of your "suspicions."

I think you miss the point ... the only reason it is wrong is because society says it is ...

We are all aware it is possible for a man to love more than one of his children isn't it? ... what is the difference between that sort of love and love between partners?

The answer to the original question is obvious ... of course it is not 'right' ... but the conversation would be very short if we did not challenge why it wasn't right
