Motor like that makes no sense. For price of parts it'd be easier to fit TL motor, including buying an AC TIG set to do the frame welding! Only problem with that is you'd have to use long forks to avoid battering mudguard into rad, and to get geometry right the tail would be stupidly high.

Parts prices like £1500 for the falicon crank and rods, and the billet barrels priced as £ask!

The cost of everything, parts were a rip off and hard to get within 6 months, and reliability. Don't get me wrong the engine was good, but the electrics were crap and the ECU dumped itself three times. At the time I was a little more involved at work and coming home every now and again to try and fix a bike every time was ridiculous.

Indeed. Unless someone else pays JHS to build a motor, then sells it on for a fraction of the build price

Lol no I can't find an idiot to send JHS a blank cheque and a copy of their catalogue with a circle round the whole "engine" section

Not really had any issues as yet fortunatly. Ebay is your friend. Also the parts are easier to find since the take over. But fair enough

Yes, an SP!

I had the full race exhaust on it and the chip, stock exhaust really strangled it and an Italian gentleman told me it wasn't designed or expected to run on the standard exhaust.
