Ace. Not as good for weather as the OEM but they're very crash proof and wing mirror repellant.

Managed to fit these on Sunday, took me about 3 times as long as it'd take a normal person but it was very straight forward and easy.

Just one thing worth noting, when you fit the clutch cable back on and before you install the plastic bit of the handguard, make sure you re-adjust your clutch position to your liking. I ended up with it far too slack and had to take the whole thing off again because it's an absolute bugger to get at the tightener with the handguard in place.

I also have a few washers left over, but they're just bits of scrap metal aren't they?

Just got a call from Hyde Suzuki to say my handguards are now in stock - so I explained to him I'd sourced them elsewhere. I even rang them afterwards to try and cancel but no one answered, and then I forgot about it.

Needless to say, he wasn't happy, I don't think i'll be buying from there ever

Should I feel bad?

No - his mistake, his problem. 4 weeks is a ludicrous amount of time to source this sort of thing. Earlier in the year I ordered some for my ex and they arrived at Mission M/cs in Milton Keynes within two days.

Nobby, ring them up instead mate, the guy knocked a couple of quid off without me even asking.

I think there is only one colour anyway, which is matt black - i'll get some pics this evening if I can get a light on them.

That sounds about right, they're £35 rrp - he knocked a few quid off for some bizarre reason and I ended up paying £34.something delivered.

I've just dropped the bloody bike this morning though so I think i've bent the RHS bar-end bolt.

Just fitted Oxford hot grips but hadnt spotted these before?

So how good are they at keeping off the windchill and rain?

Im guessing if they are any good, heated grips and hadngaurds are a great combination
