bedtime story ahoy!

glad to hear you're not seriously seriously injured sounds like you need the entire pennine massive to come round to yours and bring you nice glasses of water and maybe a slice of toast when you get your appetite back. We could play soothing music and do a modern/experimental relaxing dance piece for you. I'll dig out my fleetwood mac albatros mellow yellow remix. We'll see you right mj, don't you worry

oh yeah, and don't forget when they assess the damage, you make sure theres lots of inhaling of air from between your teeth, like a mechanic, when they give you a estimate figure that your not happy with

I'd also go back to the scene and see if the goo in the road is still there and complain to the council, while getting some photos as you might be able to use it in a claim.

Surely, being from oop north she'd prefer some carrot cake and some peanut butter jelly

Thank goodness youre ok - especially your noddle - the most important part of your body! (obviously!) My blood runs cold at the thought of it... enjoy the rest - give yourself time to get completely better

+1 many moons ago I got compo and repairs off the council for them leaving a load of sand across a junction I had turned into....they put it there to cover a diesel spill

Ouchy. Well, glad you lived to tell the tale.

Sounds like you'll claim on your insurance and have to take the hit. Pain in the **** but it's the way of things unless you have photo evidence that it was a bus or of the vehicle dumping any diesel etc. If it was ice then you could always try to sue god? Just a thought. Hope you get a decision and payout quick.
