Where I live, "lucky" is if you don't get caught.
If you see blue lights ...you will not be getting off with a warning.

If you run (or refuse to pull over) the plods can legally use whatever means to stop you.
Including shooting, killing or crashing you.

Fortunately they rarely patrol the country/mountain roads that are best suited for motocycle riding.

i got pulled over TWICE in the space of 2 hours in summer. thankfully i was out for a blast after work, so had a full face of makeup on. ergo, whip off helmet and do puppy dog eyes. works a treat.

Indeed you might even be likely to get into further trouble should you be pulled over with a full face of makeup on. LOL

But I'm sure it works for her....all the time.

On the flip side. I got three points for exceeding the speed limit in a 30 Zone.

I never speed through the village which it is the only 30 zone through the entire stretch of road. It has speed cameras at either end. I make sure I am doing 30 approaching the camera and stay at that speed all the way through. When I am past the last junction I speed up again. One time going through the village a mobile unit had set up smack bang between the two camera's. Both camera's are visible from this point. That is how small the village is.

They clocked me at 40. The must have clocked me between the last junction and the end of the restriction sign. What a cheap trick to play. I was already clear of any hazards, so nicked me on a technicality.
