It depends what kind of MPD the person has...if there are amnesic barriers between the personalities i.e. each personality is unaware of the other, then the answer is no. Personality A (who is threatening to kill himself) is the only one who would know.

talking of schizo, skit, chorizo, talking of dual personalities....

one of the funniest football chants i heard about was when Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram announced he was schitz..oh that word .. the Rangers fans started singing "there's only two Andy Gorams...."
