Default So, if I were to sell the SV.

.... how much do you guys reckon I'd get for it? Not sure I want to really.

I'm trying to keep a sensible head, but with all the mods I dunno really.

It's been pretty reliable, in fact the only thing I remember that's failed is the dreaded Reg/Rec - now has a CBR one.

Specs: 'V' Reg 1999, SV650S, 30K miles

Slight alterations to factory spec:
Candy Red powdercoated wheels
Pointy f/wheel+discs
Ohlins forksprings w/ preload adjusters
Hel braided lines
Acewell LCD clocks
Fiamm HORN!!!!!
Renthal Dragbars
Stacked Headlights
Harris rearsets
GSXR Alloy torque arm
Yoshi stubby can, jetted to suit
ZX636 Shock w/jack-up dogbones
Modified tail lifted 2" plus checkerplate undertray
LED stop+tail lights
Faired-in LED rear indys (not done in the pics)
Brushguards (not in pics)

Or I could just put a pic up, eh....

So how many fine British Pounds d'ya reckon?

You have two things against you I reckon Haggis. Your location, and the fact that it would appeal to a very limited market. If all things were fair then it should be worth a couple of grand, but sadly I suspect you may get nearer half that.

Hope I'm wildly wrong.

in todays market mate you'd be looking at grand-there's ones going on ebay at the moment with less than half your mileage, some even under 10,000 for 1300-1400, and that's them in central England

Agreed, location is always a problem living here - buying or selling. The only plus side to that is the fantastic ride home!

My own guess was around the £1200 mark, but I may wait til the season picks up a bit.

It's a buyers market right now tho and everything I've seen to replace it is at rock bottom prices. It's so tempting.

The thing with your bike haggis is you've made it a belter and personalised it-good luck with it mate, its very tempting to take these great new bike offers at the moment

Wow a curvy i actually like the look of. It's nice!
The milage isn't great, i would expect to see it fo for around £1300. But the extras could bring it up to £1400.

I'm going to assume you modded it yourself, and more than likely spent a fair bit of money on it. It would probably be better you keep it as it's a neat bike and you would only be making a huge loss selling it.

Unfortunately, extras add nothing to value.

As I always say, return it to as far near as standard as possible and sell the extras, but that would be a shame.

I'm in a similar position (although not nearly so modded or so nice) but returning to std is going to break your heart all that hard work .

Haggis if you already accept £1200 I don't think you will be disappointed, but with your location it might take a while?
Hope you get lucky & find someone that will appreciate it & pay more for the work.
