Default Anyone used AIO paddock stands? Any good?

I've spotted a paddock stand on ebay which canbe used for front or rear.

Here's the link

Anyone used them and if so are they ok?

I'd be wary of the effect the uncoated metal cups would have on the swingarm. I've used a Micron stand for the last god-knows-how-many years and that has rubber cups.

Given that the bike really needs to be upright before you put it on a front stand, and that implies having a second stand for the rear, why not just go for dedicated front and rear stands?

The cups look like they have a rubber pad, don't they? But you're right about the front/rear usage - my front (Micron) is only supposed to be used when the rear is already on...it looks a pain to convert between front and rear usage too, have to undo the whole thing!

It has rubber on the bottom of the cup, not on the sides which would scrap the sides of your swingarm.

All front stands need the bike to be on a rear or central stand first.

I don't like the front stands that have the little peg that fits into the bolt recess. They too often make a mess of the fork lower.
The type that has two pins, one to go under and one behind the fork is better.

Thanks fellas. I've already got a rear so it would be mostly for the front. Reckon I'll look for the other type Squid or get a set with the other front type in it.
