i would guess they will hit ambleside at 5-6pm earliest on the route provided, there is a handy drop off point for you after the whinlatter honiston passes namely keswick that will give you a decent run to the a66

Mark, its got a big fugly headlight on it and Im sure itll do its job, just that itll be cold on top of that a66 in the dark in Feb!

M6 - windermere - coniston - ambleside ... up kirkstone ... towards penrith ...back west A66 to keswick ... honister ... keswick ... back down to ambleside

We will be filling up at the garage on the A5271 in keswick (BP I think)
Then head south past Derwent water, then west on honister, then back to keswick on the whinlatter
