Just throwing my experience in here with these.
Got them fitted Saturday and only did a few motorway miles on them. Had to be careful because it was lashing it down, so virtually no leaning. Today we got given an extended lunch in work due to some technical issues, which left me with 30 mins to kill. Went out for a blast on the NSL roads around here with tons of roundabouts in them, and the tyres were amazing. I've done less than 60 miles on them so far, but I've only got about 5mm of chicken-strip left on the right-hand side, and probably about double that on the left. Need to go to France for some left-handed roundabouts ![]() All of that, and never even felt like the tyre was going to let go. I'm comparing this to the PR2s I had on previously, which at end-of-life had a good 1.5cm of chicken-strip left because whenever I got towards the edge the bike would skitter everywhere. Definitely going to be going for these again in future (until they produce something better ![]() |

I had a storm put on the rear about a month ago so it nicely bedded in now. Yesterday, the worn Z6 on the front was replaced with a Storm. I've had new tyres before but this is the first time I have ever felt that the front wheel feels as though it is on a patch of ice. I just hope it gets better quick. I don't know if I'm being drawn into the corner or spat out - being really cautious at the moment.

shouldn't feel like that Stingo, never had that feeling from any of my Storms. But they've been replaced as a pair, or rear.
Hopefully in a mile or three things will feel better. Although my old Azaro front feels like that at the moment being coupled with a Storm on the rear.

Just got rid of a rear Storm today and flicked my Odometer on to the B setting (my tyre wear setting , A for fuel) and it had displayed 6660 miles . The tyre had squared off a fair bit but still behaved well , there were 2 bits of metal stuck in it and it was on the tyre wear indicator , I could have probably squeeked another 500 out of it but MOT is due in 2 weeks and warmer weather on the way . The guy asked me what I wanted to put on the back and I proudly said "Same again please"

I'm on my first set of Storms, and I must say that i'm enjoying them every time i ride. I have much more confidence going into the corners. in the wet they are quite decent too

If you get a pair just tell them you were quoted £194 on the phone , they never check with each other and are busy on a Friday afternoon and a bit panicky , I did that last time . On 2 occasions they have opened the book up when I have mentioned what I was quoted and they say "Yeah ok then"
