I think I saw some numpty on a Piaggio knock someone off of their nice blue super sports just as the lights turned green on the north side of Blackfriars bridge on the way to work this morning. The proper bike rider did not look very amused.

Why is it that scooter riders seem to think it's perfectly OK to have no mirrors whatsoever and never do any shoulder checks? Madness.

The insurance(if they have any) if probily more expensive than the bike..

I loved my RS50, got a whopping 61mph out of her :O

If my dad had let me get a Arrow exhaust, my life you have been complete at 72mph, but he didnt

Miss the smell

They make the TV cut out when they drive past. Bikes don't. Cars don't. Buses don't. But the signal cuts out completely whenever a scooter comes past!

This is very true. A friend of mine gets very irritated by this. Although where she lives they are likely to be riding past in 'multiple formation'!

I doubt it is just a London thing but I'm faced with hundreds of the b*ggers on my commute, undertaking, overtaking, parking right in front of me at lights only for me to pass them before stopping at lights and then they pull up right in front of me again.

I should certainly ignore them as one day one of them is going to get me involved in an accident.

Rant over.

Shalom.
Probably what your average car driver in London thinks of you

You should just ignore things you dont like. If i made a thread about everything that annoyed me on the roads the forum would be overloaded!

Vans, horses, mercs/BMW's, chavs, peds, old men/women, farm traffic, school run 4x4's. Just gotta learn to love side by side, because theyre not going anywhere.

The driving is the worst in london though, the further away you go the better.
