Me me me me me.

I'm pretty certain I'll be free on Saturday so can tag along.

Have to agree with Amarko and Timwilky about the A6.

and second the suggestion to do the A6 from Kendal over Shap. Should be compulsory for all bikers

I concur.... might be about also... what time will you be going through sedburgh ? I might join in from there and leave at Alston.

Tony,

Where is the Hunsworth pub and what time were you thinking of setting off?

I think it's the one on the A58>leeds exit of chain bar roundabout on the left.

Planning to set off 08:30 (I am aiming to be there from 08:20), the Hunsworth Pub is just of Junction 26 on the M62 (where M62 meets M606). I assume you'll be coming from the Castleford direction on the M62 so take the first left off the roundabout, then first left again and the pub is on your left. See the map, if you zoom in on the satellite picture you can see the pub where I've marked the start and finish.

Google Maps reckons we'll get to Devils Bridge (B) around 10 ish and that it would take 10-15 mins to get to the junction between B6256 and A684(C), which is the nearest point to Sedbergh. Assuming a 15-25 min break at Devils Bridge at 10:30-10:45 at (C). Unless you want to meet us at Devils Bridge?
