I used that combo for a while, felt realy good to me, I don't recall any riding problems.

They didn't last very long for me, the front was shot in about approx. 4000 miles the rear after another 1000.

ive got 10's on the front and 20 on the rear and it seems fine.still not got around to replacing that front tho.

Thanks for the advice folks. Don't know why all of a sudden I started to worry about it as I've been riding this bike for 18 months now. Maybe just one of those things that just starts niggling in the back of the mind.

I'll be keeping it the way it is for now until I need to replace them.

Odd matched tyres can be a bit dodgy, but my experience was BT020 back with steep profile, and D220 front with shallow profile, and you'd know straight away, but I learned to ride round it, grip was there in the dry, just felt weird which I got used to. Horrible in the wet.

If your setup feels fine, then it is fine.

unless of course it was the tyre combo that caused you to slightly to overcook the left hander in the sma glen

That was teh whole story, I moved a question to pm that i thought better of leaving in open forum.

Speaking of which, you made my fiancee cry tonight. Can you work out why or do i have to spell it out.
